The Michelin Guide for The Netherlands 2017 has been released with the big news being that the country now has new star restaurant with Tribeca, in Heeze, receiving a second star.
In the one star category there were a total of five new restaurants, with three based in Amsterdam. There were no new entries in the three star category as Librije and De Leest maintained their position as the only restaurants in the country to receive the highest possible accolade from Michelin.
Château Neercanne was given a special award as the restaurant has retained a star in the guide for 60 years.
