Gastronomy will be under the spotlight as Montreal warms up for the 18th edition of one of the largest winter festivals in the world, Montreal en Lumiere, running from 23 February to 11 March.
Amidst the rich program of performing arts, gastronomy, free outdoor family activities, and impressive lighting displays an extensive gastronomy programme also takes centre stage.
Lyon, the French capital of gastronomy, will take special precidence in this year's edition as and one of Europe's gourmet destinations with 4,000 restaurants, and 21 starred chefs including Paul Bocuse, Jérôme Bocuse (Lyon) there will be a selection of guest chefs, including showcasing the region in a number of events.
