Eating on planes, unless you’re in First or Business class, it’s usually not a lot of fun. Your soggy, freshly microwaved carton is placed in front of you and all you can do is dream of the prizes being served on real porcelain up at the front.
Airlines are getting better, but that investment really doesn’t seem to make it back to economy. Just why is food in the air so boring and how exactly is it made?

Interestingly, they explain at the beginning of the video how in early days of travel all meals used to be prepared on board, something we also saw recently when SAS Airlines released old pictures of airline food and how it’s changed over the years.
