Michelin Star Ramen in a Cup

Instant ramen is a guilty pleasure for some, but now you can enjoy it guilt-free, with this ramen in a cup from one of Tokyo’s Michelin-starred ramen shops.

Nakiyru, in the Otsuka area of Tokyo, gained its first star in the most recent Michelin Guide and is only one of two, Michelin-starred ramen shops in Tokyo, alongside Tsuta.

Now, as Food Beast reports, this famous ramen is available in instant form in shops across Japan, for around 200 Yen ($1.80).

What does it taste like? Well, Rocket 24 did a taste test and say it’s not bad at all compared to the original and certainly one of the best instant ramen you can buy. “It had a mellow chicken flavor that was perfectly complemented by the sesame. There were also intermingling sour and spicy flavors that were distinct yet refined, for a solid blend overall – very impressive,” they say.

Are you outside Japan? Fear not – it’s available through international shipping.
