What's It Like to Trash the World's Best Restaurant?

The team behind Eleven Madison Park, the World’s Best Restaurant, recently let GQ film behind the scenes as they brought the curtain down on the restaurant ahead of months of serious renovation work.

Daniel HummWill Guidara and the rest of the EMP crew are currently popping up in the Hamptons at the EMP Summer House, where 125 staff are living side by side for 10 weeks, serving luxury causal fare like lobster rolls, cheeseburgers and fried chicken, plus a more refined menu, and of course, plenty of rosé, to New York City summer-escapees.

To mark the closure of the restaurant the team set about "tearing down" the interiors, whilst having a lot of fun with cans of spray paint, in one of the most elegant dining rooms in New York.

All the action was caught in the mini documentary, called Pushing Perfect: Eleven Madison Park, which you can watch below (trashing commences around nine minutes in)
