50 Best Restaurants in America

Grant Achatz’sAlinea restaurant in Chicago has topped Business Insider’s list of The 50 Best Restaurants in America.

The second spot on the list went to Eleven Madison Park in New York, while third position was awarded to Le Barnardin, also in New York.

Business Insider’s 50 Best Restaurants in America is compiled using data from The Daily Meal's 101 Best Restaurants in America 2017, OpenTable's 100 Hottest Restaurants in America, The World's 50 Best Restaurants, the James Beard Foundation's 2017 Restaurant and Chef Award Semifinalists, Eater's The National 38, and the Michelin Guide.

New York was the big winner with six restaurants hitting the top 10, including Cosme by Enrique Olvera, Daniel by Daniel Boulud, Per Se by Thomas Keller and Blue Hill at Stone Barns by Dan Barber. Grant Achatz also performed strongly, not only did Alinea get the top spot, his two other restaurants Roister and NEXT also made the final cut.
