"The Staff Were Curt" - Restaurant Owner Listens to His Worst Reviews

We recently highlighted a new food podcast, Fodder, produced by FDL contributor Matt White. In the podcast White sits down with chefs to read them some of their worst online reviews, and it’s hilarious.

The first video saw White sticking it to chef Gary Usher from Manchester’s Sticky Walnut restaurant, this time it’s Lyndon Higginson, owner of Crazy Pedro’s pizza place, stepping into the firing line.

It seems that the complaints for this place hit more towards the staff and their attitude rather than the pizza they kick out. Something that obviously makes the owner a little uncomfortable as he tries to explain why people might have had a bad experience.

Still, it takes a brave owner to sit and publicly listen to their bad online reviews, and exercise we think many restaurants could benefit from.

Take a look at the video below, you can watch the first one here.
