Created at the Drunken Dumpling restaurant in New York’s East Village, the huge Xiao Long Bao dumplings have been spreading through the web as people get excited with the idea of consuming a dumping with a straw - yes, that’s how big they are.
The dumplings are made by Qihui Guan who packs the super thin dough with chicken broth, shrimp, and seaweed.
The restaurant told Thrillist they’re only making 25 of the XL-sized Xiao Long Bao dumplings a day, they also report that at 12.09 on the day they visited the dumplings were already sold out.
