While many of us find Gordon Ramsay raising hell in the kitchen on TV entertaining, we can sometimes forget there’s an extremely high calibre chef under all the bluster. Now you can learn direct from the three Michelin star chef in a series of online masterclasses, from basic knife skills to how to elevate your cooking to Michelin standard.
Gordon Ramsay’s Masterclass, part of the popular online series that has already featured a screenwriting masterclass from Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Social Network) and tennis lessons from Serena Williams, will launch in early 2017. Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) is in the director’s chair, with Adam Bricker (Chef’s Table) as Director of Photography .

For $90, subscribers will have access to 20 video lessons from Ramsay – with the added bonus that he won’t be able to shout at you when you mess up – as well as downloadable materials, and the chance to put your cooking questions to Ramsay himself online (okay, he may shout at you here, but isn’t that kind of a thrill?).
In a statement, Ramsay said: “I want to empower students to understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and how they can expand their knowledge and skills in the kitchen.”
