Behold the Swineapple

Calling all bacon lovers, it's time to meet the swineapple. Yes, that's right. We're talking when pork meets a whole pineapple in what could be the BBQ centre piece of the summer.

While ham and pineapple make for contentious bedfellows on a Hawaiian pizza, there are, it appears, no boundaries except your own, when it comes to Hawaiian themed BBQ dishes.

So, what is a swineapple exactly? A simple construction of a lattice of bacon hugging a hollowed out pineapple stuffed with seasoned pork ribs and cooked to perfection on the BBQ.

Taking around 5 hours we just hope the promise of of sweet, salty and unctuous stickiness is a guarantee.
