The Michelin Guide to Hong Kong and Macau 2017 has been released and there are 12 newly starred restaurants we can report.
Joining the two star club are Kashiwaya and Ta Vie in Hong Kong, and Feng Wei Ju and Mizumi in Macau.
All eight three star restaurants maintained their status, with no new editions.
Overall the guide includes 80 starred restaurants (61 in Hong Kong and 19 in Macau) and 75 Bib Gourmand recommendations for restaurants "serving quality menus featuring three dishes for a maximum price of HKD 300."
Michelin have also continued their street food recommendations for the region featuring 21 spots in Hong Kong and 12 in Macau, something they initiated in the last guide.
