Tarte Normande: Make This Decadent French Apple Tart Tonight

1 shortcrust pie dough
5 large apples
2 eggs
100 g (1/2 cup) caster sugar
100 g (1/2 cup) ground almonds
100 g (1/2 cup) thick cream
4 cl (1 1/2 tbsp) of Calvados
1 handful of slivered almonds

Here are the steps to make this French apple tart:

- Preheat the oven to 220 ° C (425F)
- Start by peeling the apples and cut into thick strips
- Spread the dough in a pie plate covered with parchment paper and prick it with a fork
- Arrange the apple slices in a circle by overlapping them
