If there's one person who knows how to make an omelette it's legendary French chef Jacques Pépin.
In the video below we see him cook two styles, 'country' and 'French,' with the silky ease of someone who's been making omelettes for decades. He makes it look so easy.
The clip is fetaured in a new American Masters documentary series from PBS fosucing on four chefs who changed American cooking: Pépin, James Beard, Julia Child and Alice Waters.
Pépin has certainly led a fascinating life, cooking for the likes of President Charles de Gaulle in France, before finding his way to the US.
We can't wait to watch it (it premieres 26 May), but in the meantime, watch the master at work below.
