It can be annoying to have to open a bottle of wine, just for the sake of one glass: you can end up drinking more than you intended too, or simply chucking the rest down the drain. What a waste of good wine.
Plum is a new device that could be a solution to the problem. It can store two bottles of wine at a time and is able to keep each at differing optimum temperatures, so you can enjoy the perfect glass of wine whenever you want. Argon gas is used to keep the wine fresh for up to 90 days. The whole process is managed by in built software that will recognise the wine’s label.
Plum is currently available to pre-order, priced at $1499, so it’s not cheap, but if you’re serious about wine, this could be a great investment and will help you cut down on an awful lot of wine waste. Watch the video below for more information.
