Magnus Nilsson is Opening a Chinese Pop-Up

It seems that Magnus Nilsson is stepping in on the pop-up act and following a number of chefs with the announcement of his very own temporary Singapore style restaurant space.

Opening at the Svartklubb & Bar in Åre, Sweden, and being manned by Fäviken’s sous chef Ethel Hoon - the pop-up meal will be served family style with promise of buns, stir fry available for take out.

The full menu will focus on Singapore and its “melting pot of different Chinese food cultures” with the team promising to apply traditional Chinese techniques to local ingredients.

There’s not a lot of news on what dishes to expect but the press release promises mapo tofu and crispy duck. Just imagine grabbing your take out order from some of the Faviken crew.

The pop-up will take place June 28th to September 10th. You can make reservations here.
