How to Dine Half Price at Per Se

Per Se, Thomas Keller’s three Michelin star California-French restaurant in New York is offering a massive discount on food for one special evening this March; the only catch is you have to be under 30.

With 30 tables set aside, diners will be served a seven-course tasting menu for $175, with an optional $50 wine pairing, for one evening only, on, yes you guessed it, 30 March. A nine-course dinner at Per Se usually costs $325 without drinks.

It’s the second time the restaurant has staged a 30-for-30 Dining Experience, following a similar event in December. It aims to “continue to usher in a new generation of fine diners,” with Thomas Keller revealing he got the idea from the three Michelin star Auberge de l'Ill in France, according to Eater.

Some suggest the restaurant is trying to revive its fortunes after Pete Wells’s hypercritical review in the The New York Times back in 2016 and accusations that it has failed to evolve.

You can find out for yourself just where the restaurant is at: reservations can be made by emailing Alanna Parisi at aparisi@perseny.com or calling (+01) 212-823-9352.
