The Roca Brother's Newest Dining Experience

The Roca brothers have gone full on future with their latest project alongside trusted collaborator and visual artist Franc Aleu.

Opera Samfaina is a new dining experience located in the centre of Barcelona inside one of the most prestigious opera houses in the city and promises to immerse diners in an all out visual, culinary and auditory display.

Using interactive tables, music, distinct areas and the help of famous TV producer Joan Gràcia, the Rocas have produced an all in visual concept that echoes there El Somni project on a much grander scale.

Videos show dinners enjoying performance in three distinct areas: Diva, Market and Odyssey. Experiences are offered in three packages ranging from 38 to 58 Euros with each one offering different food experiences along the way.

The top package starts with a vermouth bar tasting, an immersive audio and visual projection, and 5 wines paired alongside 5 Catalan food products. Diners are then seated at an interactive table full of visual projections, 3D surroundings and music, enjoying a further eight course of Catalan tapas paired with 2 drinks.

The menu features the Roca’s classic take on dishes such as Bacallà amb samfaina, soup and chickpea casserole - hearty winter Catalan food. This is offset with edgy and modern takes on classic tapas - all intertwined with music, art, projections and design - the brothers strike again!
