Applications are open for the Uccelin Foundation - a unique culinary scholarship program started by chef Andreas Caminada.
The foundation provides culinary professions already working in kitchens with the chance to apply for scholarships that fund further study in a range of disciplines.
Those granted scholarships receive funds for a 20-week program of study, including internships at restaurants around the world, apprenticeships with specific producers and placements with professionals working within the industry. It’s a unique idea and is the first foundation of its kind in the world.
Applications are currently open until the end of March and those wishing to apply should visit the foundation website to fill in an application form.
To support the latest applications, the foundation has released a video of Jordi Roca, Björn Frantzén and Sergio Herman discussing their own apprenticeships in the culinary world.
