Adria to Open in the US

Ferran and Albert Adrià are joining forces with fellow Spanish chefJosé Andrés for a huge new food hall in New York that will bring a taste of Spain to the Big Apple.

According to Eater, the 35,000-square-foot food hall in the Hudson Yards development, where David Chang and Thomas Keller are also reportedly planning to open restaurants, will be a one stop drinking, dining and shopping destination, including a "world class tapas bar."

Andrés actually started his career at the Adrià brothers' elBulli restaurant and has gone on to open 20 different restaurants in the US. This will be the first time the Adriàs have had a bricks and mortar locaton in the US.

Albert Adrià recently launched a new restaurant in Barcelona called Enigma – take a look at some of the dishes here – while Ferran has been busy with the elBulli Foundation since the famed restaurant of the same name closed in 2011.

Sound good? Well unfortunately you're going to have to wait until late 2018, because that's when the as yet unamed food hall is scheduled to open.
